There is an $800 deposit required per blade at the time the order is placed. Checks, money orders, PayPal and wire transfers are accepted.

The deposit(s) will apply to the total purchase price of your sword(s) and is nonrefundable. The balance on the blade will be due at the first of the month your order is scheduled to be finished. We will provide the month and year your blade will be completed well in advance. Your blade will be finished and shipped by the end of that scheduled month. If for any reason Howard can not meet the end of the month promise we will contact you.

Some rules: Once your order is placed it may not be change. For an order to be valid it must be accompanied by the deposit. You will recieve a confirmation from us.

Pricing: L6 Katana $3800, Wakizashi $2850, Tanto $1900

1086 Katana $2400, Wakizashi $1800, Tanto $1200

Your options are:

1) Choice of either 1086 or L6 steel

2) Length of blade / nagasa

3) Sori depth and style.

The steel choice is guaranteed. The blade length will be with in a few mm. The sori will be within plus or minus 1/8 inch of depth requested.

The hamon can not be requested. Howard will not use steels other than 1086 or L6.
